Yard House is a national restaurant chain founded in 1996 in Long Beach, California, by Steele Platt, Tom Yelenick, William Wollrab, and Steve Reynolds with a mission to build "the world's greatest tap room." Now owned by Darden Restaurants, the chain is known for its massive draft beer selection, often exceeding 100 taps per location, paired with a broad American menu and a classic-rock soundtrack; its Coral Gables location sits in the Village of Merrick Park.
