The Corner

About

The Corner is a Downtown Miami bar opened around 2011 by architect Christopher "Mac" Macleod, who bought the corner building at Miami Avenue and NW 11th Street during the post-recession real estate downturn. Built with 150-year-old repurposed wood, the bar was designed to evoke the funky, intimate feel of a New Orleans neighborhood haunt rather than typical Miami nightlife, and it has since become a late-night hub for live music and local events.
