About

Sunny's Steakhouse grew out of a 2020 pandemic-era pop-up called Sunny's Someday Steakhouse, launched by co-owners Will Thompson and Carey Hynes at Lot 6 in Miami's Little River neighborhood, built around a massive banyan tree. The outdoor residency became a cult favorite, earning a spot on Bon Appétit's "Top 50 Restaurants in the U.S." list in 2022, before the team opened it as a permanent indoor/outdoor restaurant in Little River in 2024.
