About

The Tank Brewing Co. traces its roots to a Florida International University homebrewing club started in 2011 by Matthew Weintraub and fellow students under a professor's guidance. Owner Carlos Padron, a former cigar-industry consultant, built on that foundation to open a combined brewery, taproom, and cigar lounge in 2017. At roughly 25,000 square feet, it is one of Miami-Dade's largest breweries, pairing house-brewed beer with an attached cigar lounge.
