Wynwood Brewing Company

About

Wynwood Brewing Company was founded in 2011 by Luis Brignoni and his father Luis "Pops" Brignoni Sr., becoming Miami's first craft production brewery and giving the Wynwood Arts District its name to the local beer scene. The brewery started out brewing 10-gallon batches by hand in the alley of the neighborhood's Octopus building before opening its taproom, and its Pop's Porter won a gold medal at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival. Wynwood Brewing closed its doors in February 2024, merging with its sister brewpub Veza Sur Brewing Co.
