Delirium Café
bar
About
Tucked into a narrow alley off Rue des Bouchers in central Brussels, Delirium Café opened in 2004 and quickly became a pilgrimage site for beer lovers. It holds the Guinness World Record for the most beers commercially available — over 2,000 at its peak — and its cellar bar is plastered floor to ceiling with brewery signs and trays from around the world. The pink elephant of Delirium Tremens, brewed by Huyghe since 1988, watches over everything.
Our History
This was the first stop on our first trip abroad together. We spent an entire rainy afternoon in the cellar working through the beer menu like it was a novel, and the coaster came home in a jacket pocket — the one that started the whole wall.
Where to find it
