Bougainvillea's Old Florida Tavern occupies a 1920s Florida cottage in South Miami originally built in 1929, which over the decades served as a private home, gift shop, tearoom, and doctor's office before becoming a tavern. Built of now-rare Dade County pine that has withstood a century of hurricanes, it has become a South Miami institution known for live music and craft beer in its indoor and outdoor spaces.
